We are delighted to share that Cartrefi Cymru Cooperative has won the Employee Engagement Award at this year’s HR in Wales Awards!
Cartrefi was nominated for the award in recognition of our ‘Kudos @ Cartrefi’ colleague praise initiative, where colleagues can send each other praise to recognise excellent work in line with our core values of honesty, kindness, respect, trust and wellbeing.
Since it began, Kudos has seen great engagement from across the whole of Cartrefi, with over 1,500 Kudos sent and received.
This award is an amazing achievement, recognising the way Kudos has helped strengthen our culture at Cartrefi, rewarding our colleagues frequently for the brilliant work they do, and reinforcing the positive behaviours we want to see in all our people.
Representing Cartrefi at the awards was Alison Woodward, Director of People, Nia Court, Assistant Director of People, and Will Rees, Communications Manager.
Reflecting on winning the award, Will said:

Your nominations showcase each day the remarkable work you do across Wales supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live the way they want to - achieving their ambitions and dreams along the way.”
