At Cartrefi Cymru, our values are more than just words on paper – they guide the way we support, work together, and grow as an organisation. We believe that living our values every day is what makes the biggest difference, both to the people we support and to each other.
That’s why we launched Kudos at Cartrefi, an initiative designed to highlight how we bring our values to life. It gives us the chance to celebrate the moments – big and small – where individuals go above and beyond.

Through Kudos, both colleagues and people we support can share compliments and messages of appreciation that highlight these values in action. Whether it’s recognising a team member’s patience in a challenging situation, celebrating someone’s deserved promotion, or simply appreciating kindness and support during a busy day, these moments capture the spirit of our community.

When she appeared uncomfortable, you responded with such care and respect — offering her one-to-one time in the community and prioritising her needs without hesitation. This is a great way of getting the people we support taking part in outdoor activities and enhancing wellbeing. Your sessions involve individuals from the wider community as well as Cartrefi supported individuals which gives everyone a sense of belonging and inclusion.'
